MillerMasciola, Attorneys At Law was established in 1998 by Brigadier General (Ret.) Peter R. Masciola, USAF, joined by law partner, retired Federal Senior Executive Service (SES) and Air Force Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Tamara L. Miller. Their combined over 75 years of legal expertise spans the areas of plaintiffs’ military medical malpractice and medical credentialing and licensure defense of physicians and other health care providers.
We are “a military family law firm serving military families and medical professionals.” We investigate and represent service members and their families in bringing claims and lawsuits for medical malpractice under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) and the Military Claims Act (MCA). This now includes active duty military personnel who have the right to file claims for medical malpractice that are non-combat related due to a change in US law in 2019.
We also leverage our experience with the healthcare system to represent and advise licensed medical professionals, both military and civilian, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and others. Our law firm guides and defends medical providers facing adverse professional licensure actions.
